🔼 Through Two. After the second round at the NCAA East Lansing Regional, the Women of Troy remain atop the leaderboard. The team used a successful back nine to push out to a two-stroke lead. Amari Avery was the Trojan’s biggest mover of the day after carding a 1-under par round to climb 14 spots. Bailey Shoemaker remains in first place after a 1-under-par round of her own to move to 8-under for the tournament. The Women of Troy will tee off this morning for the final round at the Forest Akers West Course.

🔼 First Ever. USC women’s basketball has its first Big Ten conference schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Trojans will welcome nine teams to Galen Center in its debut season in the conference including Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State and UCLA. The 18-game schedule has USC facing every team in the conference once, along with a home-and-away series against the crosstown rivals.

🔼 Long Fight. The USC baseball team took Long Beach State to 12 innings but could not earn the win, falling 7-6. The Trojans tied things up in the eighth inning thanks to a Carson Wells RBI double which eventually led to extra innings. With just seven games remaining in the regular season, USC will travel to Washington State this weekend for their penultimate Pac-12 series.

USC track and field’s Jasmine Jones was named Pac-12 Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week for the third time in her collegiate career. Jones had the fastest time by a collegiate runner in the 400m hurdles and 100m hurdles at the Oxy Invitational, winning the 400m hurdles and placing second in the 100m hurdles to Olympic gold medalist Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.
