USC track and field’s Jasmine Jones won the 400m hurdles title with a school and meet-record time and placed fourth in the 100m hurdles to lead the USC women to a 10th-place tie at the 2024 NCAA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Trojan senior won the women's 400m hurdles title in a record time of 53.15, passing two runners in the final 80 meters. She joins Natasha Danvers (2000) and Anna Cockrell (2019 and 2021) as Trojans to bring home the NCAA title in the 400m hurdles.

🔼 More The Merrier. Fresh off a National Championship appearance, USC women’s golf hired Beth Wu to join on as an assistant coach. During her latest season, Wu helped lead her team to three consecutive team titles to open the fall season. Before jumping into her coaching career, Wu spent the previous three years (2020-22) on the Epson Tour where she posted four top-10 finishes, including two runner-up outings.

🔼 Scholarly Success. Fourteen Trojans were named as CRCA Scholar Athletes from USC Rowing. Rhese Abrams, Grete Alttoa, Sara Clarin, Eden Cooper-Squires, Julia Karten, Isabella Korellis, Isabella Lysaker, Celia Marino, Anna Molnar, Raquel Rodriguez, Sage Saperstein, Anastasiia Slivina, and Clare Widzgowski were each honored for their success in the classroom. The 14 selections bring USC’s total up to 74 CRCA selections all-time.

Following the USC men’s track and field performances at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, the Trojan men’s squad finished on the podium in third place. Racquil Broderick placed second in the discus throw as the first Trojan to score in the event since 2010. Johnnie Blockburger finished fourth in the 400m and earned All-American honors with a time of 44.90. The 4x400m relay took eighth with a time of 3:02.68 to earn USC its last point of the meet.
