🔼 Wild Wild West. The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region teams were announced and USC baseball's junior closer, Josh Blum, was named to the West's second team. The Pac-12 First Team selection made 27 appearances on the mound for the Trojans, all out of the bullpen, compiling 10 saves, which is good for the ninth-best single-season total in USC history and the most by a Trojan reliever since 2007.

🔼 Many Men. Following the NCAA Outdoor Championships, USC track and field had 31 Trojans head home with All-American honors. The women’s team had 14 total while the men finished with 17 First and Second Team selections, tied for the most of any school in the competition.

Trojan Trivia is sponsored by our friends at United Healthcare, who are helping people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone. Save Keeping. USC’s Josh Blum earned an All-Region nod after finishing the season with a 1.87 ERA and 10 saves — the third most in the Pac-12 and the 14th most in the nation.

Our question today: can you name the last USC pitcher who finished the season with double-digit saves?

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF

81 days until kickoff, Trojan Nation!

In 1981, legendary running back Marcus Allen became the fourth USC football player to win the Heisman Trophy. He topped the 200-yard rushing mark in eight of 11 games and totaled 2,342 yards while scoring 23 touchdowns.

As the first player to rush for over 2,000 yards in a single season, Allen is arguably the most decorated player in the history of football as he is the only player to win a national title, a Heisman, a Super Bowl, a Super Bowl MVP and an NFL regular season MVP.
