🔼 Staying Home. With the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers selected Trojan guard, Bronny James. After a season that saw James make an impact on both sides of the court, the now-former Trojan will join his dad in Los Angeles to become the first-ever father-son duo in NBA history.

🔼 Welcome Home. USC baseball announced the hiring of Sean Allen as the Trojans' pitching coach. Following a strong finish to end the season, Allen will come in with three trips to Omaha under his belt and a 2021 National Assistant Coach of the Year award.

Legendary Trojan running back Mike Garrett won USC’s first Heisman award in 1965. The senior back was the first player to average over 25 carries a game while finishing the season with 1,440 yards and 17 touchdowns. His career rushing total of 3,221 yards was among the best in NCAA history at the time. Garrett went on to become a second-round pick in the 1966 NFL Draft and played four years for the Kansas City Chiefs and four more with the San Diego Chargers. He won a Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs in 1970.
