🔼 Going For Gold. USC track and field phenoms Jasmine Jones, Anna Cockrell and Rai Benjamin earned their way to the 2024 Paris Olympics during the final day of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Team Trials. Both Women of Troy punched their tickets to Paris in the women’s 400m hurdles where Cockrell placed second with a personal-best time of 52.64 while Jones took third, bettering her school record with a time of 52.77. Benjamin earned his trip to the Games by winning the men's 400m title with a meet record and world-leading time of 46.46.

🔼 Head Honcho. USC Rowing announced the hiring of head coach Kelsie Chaudoin. The new head honcho brings two decades of collegiate experience which includes championships as a student-athlete and associate head coach.

🔼 All Around Student-Athlete. Seven Trojans from three different teams earned selections to the College Sports Communicators At-Large Academic All-District Team. USC's latest CSC Academic All-District honorees — Ella Heaney and Claudia Shevitz of lacrosse; Andrej Grgurevic of men's water polo; Megan Kraft, Delaynie Maple, Audrey Nourse and Nicole Nourse of beach volleyball — were each instrumental in the success of their teams' recently completed seasons.

🔼 Dynamic Duo On The Way. USC men's golf has signed Jack Buchanan, an incoming freshman and member of the South African National Team, and Jack Jerge, a sophomore transfer from Saint Mary's who placed fourth at the 2024 West Coast Conference Championships. Buchanan arrives at Troy with a plethora of international experience as he was the former captain of the South African Junior National Team. Jerge recently concluded his freshman season at Saint Mary's with a scoring average of 72.2 in 34 total rounds.
