🔼In Good Hands. Standout sophomore Trojan wide receiver and First Team All-American Zachariah Branch has been named as a nominee for the 2024 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. Zachariah and his brother Zion (a redshirt sophomore safety on USC football) created the "Branch Out Foundation" in 2023. The foundation is "dedicated to the support of youth initiatives including homelessness, after-school programs, health and wellness as well as other charitable causes." The foundation focuses on assisting the communities of Los Angeles and Las Vegas, where the Branch family is from.

🔼On Track In the Classroom. Nineteen of USC’s track and field student-athletes were named to USTFCCCA All-Academic teams following the season's conclusion. Plus, both the men’s and women’s teams earned All-Academic Team designation. To earn All-Academic team honors the composite team GPA must be at least 3.0 and individually, an athlete had to maintain a GPA of at least 3.25.

🔼High Octane Offense. USC men’s basketball head coach Eric Musselman has done a good job recruiting scorers from the transfer portal; the newest Trojans will have no trouble at all getting the ball in the hoop. USC’s transfer class combined to average 148.3 points per game last season — the most of any transfer class in the nation.

The legendary Trojan, Charles White, racked up a total of 6,245 career rushing yards from 1976-1979 to become USC’s all-time leading rusher. In his final year with the Trojans, White rushed for over 2,000 yards in just 12 games while scoring 19 touchdowns en route to winning his Heisman Trophy. White’s record stands to this day, and the next closest to the record, Marcus Allen, is still 1,435 yards from No. 12.
