🔼 Third From Paris. The third day of competition for USC athletes saw five Trojans make their Olympic debut and many others begin their quest for a gold medal.

🏖️ Defending World Champions Sara Hughes and Kelly Cheng started their run in beach volleyball with a decisive victory over the Czech Republic.

⚽️ Simi Awujo earned her first Olympic start for Team Canada, played the full 90 minutes, and ultimately, helped her squad to a win over France.

🏊️ Minna Abraham advanced to the semifinals in the 200m freestyle with a 13th-place finish while Vaggelis Markygiannis advanced to the semifinals in the 100m backstroke with an eighth-place finish

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is former Trojan Boogie Ellis. After an impressive summer in Las Vegas at the NBA2K25 Summer League, Ellis agreed to a deal with the Sacramento Kings. The former USC point guard will now get the opportunity to compete for an open roster spot in Kings training camp.
