🔼 New Role, Same Goal. After serving for two seasons as the Director of Player Development, Courtney Jaco is moving on up and joining USC women’s basketball as its newest assistant coach.

The No. 2 all-time leading three-point shooter and former Pac-12 champ returned to USC in 2019 to serve as video coordinator. With that in mind, it’s now easy to see how hard-working and determined Jaco is after reaching this point in her professional career.

🗣️ “I’m grateful to have Courtney with us as we strive every day to make her alma mater the elite program in women’s college basketball. [She’s] sharp, prepared, personable, Courtney is a rising star in the coaching world.” - Head Coach Lindsay Gottlieb

🔼 Tickets Please! Trojan volleyball will be one of the first programs to kick off the athletic calendar for USC this coming fall. The schedule is set, and after a trip to Brazil to compete against some competition and see the sights, the Women of Troy are ready to battle.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

USC men’s tennis player Learner Tien has been hard at work this summer. Yesterday, he wrapped up a clean sweep of both singles and doubles tournaments as a champion in both in the SoCal Pro Series.

Each of his two wins were the first of his professional career. In the doubles bracket, he and his partner, Bryce Nakashima, took the final in straight sets. It was more of the same in the singles bracket after Tien took down his opponent in straight sets to tack on another championship.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Calen Bullock!

The returning Trojan was the only returning safety to be graded in the 80’s, coming in with a score of 82.5. It has been, and will continue to be, a no fly zone when Bullock is on the field.

Have a great Monday, everyone!
