🔼 Never Out. Heading into halftime down 1-0, the Women of Troy stormed back in the second half, scoring three goals to earn the win on the road against Pepperdine. USC struck three times in the final 38 minutes with goals from Faith George, Hannah Griffin and an own goal caused by Simone Jackson to pick up the victory. Now sitting at 2-0-1 on the season, USC soccer will prepare for its next match on the road in a clash against Portland on Saturday, August 31.
🔼 Welcome Home. Fresh off an appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Tiana Eyakpobeyan was added to USC’s track and field roster for the upcoming season. A sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter and 200-meter races, the newest Trojan joins the team as a gold medalist in the Senior African Games, the Senior African Championships, the Commonwealth Youth Games and the African U18 Games.
🔼 Fall Roads Lead To This. Trojan men’s tennis is preparing for the 2024-25 season in anticipation of a loaded fall schedule. On September 20, USC will head to the Sherwood Invite for the team’s first competition. In total, the Trojans will compete in eight events leading up to the NCAA Individual Championships in Waco, Texas starting November 18.
Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO goes to USC women’s basketball assistant coach, Willnett Crocket. The Trojan coach has been named to the CIF LA City Section 2025 Hall of Fame Class for her efforts in high school sports.

USC football has a career-winning percentage of 63.6% in bowl games which have included multiple Rose Bowl and national championship wins.
