Good morning! If you watched the Trojans’ football game this Saturday, you probably know why the team moved up in the AP Poll. The new ranking is the highest USC football has been ranked so far this season.

🔼 Broomsticks. The Women of Troy came away from hosting the Trojan Invitational this weekend with a squeaky clean 3-0 record, a tournament title, and a 4-4 record on the season.
The Trojans recorded two sweeps against both UC Davis and Marist while Sunday’s match against San Diego was a 3-1 win in favor of USC. Skylar Fields, Gala Trubint and Lindsey Miller were named to the All-Tournament Team.
🔼 Made A Splash. USC men’s water polo faced off in a pair of top-10 matches this weekend and split the weekend at one apiece.
🤽♂️ In a rematch against the title winners last season on Saturday, California bested the Trojans in their first MPSF match of the year. Massimo Di Martire scored a team-high two goals for the Trojans, and Zach Bettino, Luka Brnetic, and Reed Stemler added the other goals for USC on the match.
🤽♂️ The Trojans came out on top against No. 8 UC Irvine in a close one. USC came back from a two goal deficit to take the match 12-10 behind four fourth period goals.
🔼 Gone Back to Back. USC cross country did something that hasn’t been done in eight years: have back-to-back finishes in the Top-5. Freshman Angelina Vasquez and Marjourie Lopez led the Women of Troy to a third place tie in points, and fourth by the tiebreaker.

🔼 Back At It. USC men’s golf closed out their final round at the Sahalee Players Championship yesterday for their first action of the season with a 12th place finish. Antonio Safa finished as the team’s low man of the weekend after carding a final round of 79 to tie for 34th on the tournament.

Large Lead. This weekend, USC football put up some points, and put them up fast. The game was all but over when the game headed into halftime, and history only further proved that.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING
The Trojans dominated Stanford under the lights in a 56-10 rout at the Coliseum for their third win of the season.
USC scored 49 points in the first half of action, which included seven different Trojans scoring each touchdown of the half. The Trojans finished the game with 573 total yards of offense and QB1, Caleb Williams, left the game in the third quarter 281 yards, three passing touchdowns, and one incredible rushing touchdown.
Next up, after taking next week off, USC will travel to Arizona State to face off against the Sun Devils.
