🔼 No Better Feeling. Woody Marks scored on a 13-yard run with eight seconds left to give the No. 23 Trojan a thrilling 27-20 win over No. 13 LSU on Sunday night. Miller Moss passed for 378 yards and a touchdown and his 20-yard completion to Kyron Hudson and a subsequent targeting penalty on LSU with 18 seconds to play set up the winning score by Marks in the season opener for both teams.

🔼 Taking Care of Business. USC soccer put up another strong performance on the road on Saturday afternoon, taking down Portland 2-1 in a non-conference matchup to stay unbeaten on the year. The Trojans got a first-half goal from Kayla Colbert and then a second-half penalty kick from Maile Hayes to take care of business offensively. The win moves USC to 3-0-1 on the season, as the Women of Troy get ready to take on San Francisco this Thursday for a chance to remain undefeated.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO goes to USC alumna Erin Bakes who was named to the inaugural 23-player USA Lacrosse team. The inaugural team will compete against ten other nations in the Women's Box Championships from Sept. 20-29 in Utica, N.Y, marking the first time World Lacrosse hosts the event.
