🔼 Fought On. The No. 19 Trojan soccer team fell just short of an incredible comeback in last night’s game against Utah Valley. After going down 3-0 in 61 minutes, the Trojans stormed back with two goals in the 62nd and 78th minutes of the game to bring the game back to a surmountable 3-2 deficit.

USC, however, was unable to find an equalizer in the dying minutes of the game and fell to a record of 3-2-0 on the season. Next up, the Trojans will host New Mexico State next week in the third game of the three-game home stretch.

🔼 Trojan’s House. The Women of Troy will host their first games of the season at the Galen Center this weekend at the Trojan Invitational. Fourth-year coach Brad Keller and his team will face off against UC Davis, Marist, and San Diego.

🏐 USC’s lone matchup against UC Davis came back in 1977 where the Trojans pulled off the victory. Forty-six years later, USC will look to do the same.

🏐 Marist and USC have never met before, but the Trojans will be hungry to take home a win to start the all-time series off strong.

🏐 The Trojans and San Diego are no strangers, with USC leading the series 12-4 all-time.

Luckily for USC, home openers are a specialty. The Trojans are 38-9 in all-time in our house, and Pac-12 Preseason All-Conference Team duo Skylar Fields and Mia Tuaniga will look to lead the squad to victory(s) this weekend to improve their record.

🔼 Top Of Mind. USC men’s water polo has quite the home opener on its hands with a rematch of last year’s NCAA final against the California Golden Bears this Saturday. The undefeated teams head into the match ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the country with USC looking to avenge their loss from a season ago. The Trojans will then hit the road on Sunday to face off against No. 8 ranked UC Irvine on Sunday where USC currently holds the advantage with a 36-game win streak.

🔼 Official Tee Times. As Trojan men’s golf heads off to Washington to start their fall season, the team can look ahead to what’s to come with the release of the 2023-24 competition schedule.

USC will play a total of four events in the fall, with the last event of the calendar year for the team, the Cal-Poly Collegiate, taking place on Halloween weekend. Then, the spring season starts back up in late January where the team will have six events to get ready for the Pac-12 Championships in late April.

Trojan football heads into their third game of the season against Stanford this Saturday ready to keep the train moving on what has been a successful start to the 2023 campaign by all accounts.

The No. 6 Trojans face off against their oldest foe, dating back to 1905, for their first Pac-12 game of the season. With USC’s move to the Big 10 and Stanford’s recent decision to head to the ACC, this matchup could be the last between these two teams for the foreseeable future.
