🔼 Dynamic Duo. It was tough sledding in yesterday’s second round of NCAA Regionals in Morgan Hill, CA as only five players carded rounds under par for the day. Mahanth Chirravuri battled for a seven over-par round and currently sits in a tie for 33rd after two rounds of play with just one more to go. Jackson Rivera shot an eight over-par round to put himself one back of Chirravuri in a tie for 40th overall.

Heading into the final round of NCAA Regionals, only the top individual not on an advancing team goes through to the championship, and both Trojans golfer have their work cut out for them. In golf, all you need is a chance, and both golfers will get that chance later today.

🔼 Magnificent On The Mound. To the surprise of absolutely no one, USC’s Caden Aoki was named the Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week after his scoreless eight inning performance against Arizona State this past Saturday.

The righty allowed just three hits and no walks in the outing, and helped lead the team to a 2-0 victory to secure the series win before the sweep was captured the following game. He needed just 95 pitches to go eight innings, and with a game time just over two hours, you know Aoki was getting the results he wanted.

After accumulating just two Pitchers of the Week since 2016, USC has won three just this season, and in back-to-back weeks for the first time in almost 20 years. The Trojans will look to close the regular season on a high note this weekend as they head to Tucson to face off against Arizona.

🔼 All-American. America called, and Rayah Marshall is answering after becoming one of eight locked-in members of the 2023 FIBA AmeriCup USA Basketball Team. She balled out and showed why she deserved a spot after three-day trials that took place in Colorado Springs.

After a sophomore season where she set the USC record of blocks in a season with 98, the All-Pac-12 Defensive Team selection will get to show the world her talent when pool play opens up on July 1st. USA will look to capture their third gold medal since 2019.

They say home is where the heart is, and USC baseball’s heart is situated firmly at Dedeaux Field. After this weekend’s series sweep, the Trojans officially put together its best season at home since 2001. Even more amazing, USC did not lose a single series when playing at home all season long.

The Trojans will close out the regular season having swept four series and outscoring their opponents 237-131 when playing at Dedeaux Field. If you do the match, that adds up to a lot of wins.

After a hard-fought win tonight thanks to a quad of home runs, including two from Mr. Olmstead, USC will now have an opportunity to improve their standing in the Pac-12 in their regular season series finale at Arizona.
