🔼 Natty Hunting. Trojans, are you ready to gear up for another National Championship matchup? USC women’s golf came in to Tuesday’s matches ready to prove they were the best remaining team, and so far, they have backed themselves up.

After defeating South Carolina 3-1-1 in the quarterfinals, the Trojans earned themselves a date with the No. 1 team in the country, Stanford. After securing a pair of wins from Cindy Kou and Christine Wang, they needed just one more win to secure a trip to the finals. Brianna Navarrosa, who went head-to-head with the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world, took the most significant win of the season in a wire-to-wire victory. There's some sort of ice in her veins that not many humans have.

Now the only team standing in the way of a fourth National Championship for the program is Wake Forest. Coverage begins at 1:35pm PT today and will be available to watch on the Golf Channel.

🔼 Five Run Man. It’s always a good day when USC bests crosstown rival UCLA, but to do it in the Pac-12 Tournament makes it all the sweeter.

The man of the match goes to Austin Overn, who hit a game-tying three run home run in the fifth inning, and the eventual game-winning triple that scored two runs. There’s seemingly nothing this guy can’t do. The runs mean nothing though without some defense, and a combination of Caden Connolly and Kyle Wisch held the Bruins scoreless the rest of the way to secure the victory.

Next on the list, Washington. First pitch is at 2:30pm PT on Thursday. Rest up Mr. Overn, because you certainly deserve it.

🔼 More Than Athletes. What a star-studded group we have here. Five Women of Troy from three different programs were named to a CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team.

From lacrosse, Claudia Shevitz and Emma Wightman earned the selection following their Pac-12 title. Both Audrey and Nicole Nourse were selected to the team after an outstanding performance this season, and winning the NCAA Championship in Beach Volleyball. Lastly, Bayley Weber, the MPSF Player of the Year, added another award to her resume with her selection representing the women’s water polo squad.

🔼 Still Waiting... The men’s tennis duo was not as fortunate with their weather as the doubles tournament was postponed last night due to harsh conditions. Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye’s doubles match will have to wait just a little bit longer.

🔼 Sweet Sixteen x2. In her NCAA singles debut, freshman Maddy Sieg is headed to the Round of 16 after taking care of her UNC opponent in straight sets. Sieg gave up just two sets during the match, and is poised to make a deep run in the singles bracket.

Even better, Sieg, and her partner Eryn Cayetano, (after quite the rain delay) defeated their Texas A&M counterparts in straight sets as well to move on to the Round of 16 in the doubles bracket. They will square off again later today for a chance at a quarterfinal matchup.

Johnny Olmstead: All-Pac-12 honorable mention

Blake Sodersten: All-Pac-12 honorable mention

He switched it up throughout the season, but made his biggest impact down the stretch as a starter on the mound for the Trojans. He finished the year with a 3.82 ERA, fifth best among starters in the Pac-12.
