🔼 Anotha’ One. The men’s basketball team has back-to-back double-digit Big Ten dubs after beating Iowa 99-89. Desmond Claude led the team with 25 points, and Saint Thomas was right behind with 24. Freshman Wesley Yates III had a career night with 21 points, going 8-for-11 in the field, 4-for-5 behind the arc and had four assists.

🔼 Double Honors. Women’s basketball guard JuJu Watkins was named the Big Ten Player of the Week for the fourth time. She was also named the Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Player of the Week. Watkins averaged 28 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 2.5 assists and 2 blocks in USC’s two Big Ten wins this past week.

🔼 High Performance. Wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane was named to the AP All-Bowl Team for his performance in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl game. Lane had seven receptions for 127 yards and a Las Vegas Bowl record three touchdowns.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is the track and field team! The program produced two very talented athletes— Olympian and NCAA champion Jasmine Jones and USA champion Johnny Brackins Jr. Both athletes were named to the 2024 team MVP’s at the annual USC Out of the Block Banquet.
