🔼 First Dub. The women’s basketball team beat New Mexico State in its 2025-26 season opener. The Trojans won 87-48. Londynn Jones led the team with 16 points. Jazzy Davidson was right behind with 14. The women shot 40.9% from the field and held their opponent to under 17 points in each quarter.
🔼 Double the Honors. The Big Ten Conference named two women’s volleyball players to weekly honors. Reese Messer was named the Co-Setter of the Week. London Wijay was named the Player of the Week. Messer recorded a career-high 54 assists against No. 20 Minnesota. Wijay reached a new career-high with 25 kills.

🔼 Mark the Calendar. The track and field team released its 2026 schedule. Head coach Quincy Watts enters his fifth year with the program. The indoor season begins on Jan. 16, and the outdoor season starts on March 27.
Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is Ryon Sayeri. The kicker was named the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week. This is his first conference weekly honor this season. He scored eight points in USC’s win over Nebraska. He also tallied five kickoffs for 323 yards and two touchbacks.
