The Women of Troy received the eighth seed in the Pittsburgh quarter of the bracket and will face America East champion UMBC (17-7) in a first-round match on Friday, Dec. 1, at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT) at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

In the other first-round match at Petersen Events Center, top-seeded host and co-ACC champion Pittsburgh (25-4) will take on MEAC champion Coppin State (27-4). The winners of the two first-round contests will meet in the second round on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. ET.

🔼 Looking Forward. Oklahoma tipped in a missed jumper with 1.4 seconds remaining and No. 23 USC men’s basketball fell 72-70 in the championship game of the inaugural Rady Children's Invitational.

USC's DJ Rodman tied it at 70 by making both ends of a one-and-one with 27.9 seconds left. Oklahoma called a timeout with 25.4 seconds left and played for the final shot—grabbing the rebound off a missed shot at the three-point line and putting in the winner.

For the Trojans, Boogie Ellis and Kobe Johnson scored 16 points apiece.
