📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Series Win! The No. 21 baseball team opened its series against Rutgers on Friday. The Trojans won 5-1. Mason Edwards threw 7.0 innings and struck out 13 batters. Abbrie Covarrubias was hot at the plate with two hits and three RBIs. The men were hot at the plate again, winning 11-1 in seven innings on Saturday. USC hit a season-high six homers. The men swept the series on Sunday with a 12-2 win. Diego Velazquez threw 4.0 innings and struck out six batters. Isaac Cadena went 4-for-4 at the plate with two home runs.

🔼 Earning Wins. The No. 13 women’s tennis team swept Sacramento State 4-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. USC went on to beat No. 23 California 4-1 on Saturday. The women advance to play in the NCAA Super Regional later this week.

🔼 Senior Slay. The rowing team took on the University of San Diego on Saturday for its senior day competition. The Trojans won all four races in the last dual regatta of the season. After the race, the Trojans honored seniors Alex DeLisle, Grace Eamer, Julia Karten, Isabella Korellis, Rachel McCafferty and Raquel Rodriguez in their final home regatta.

🔼 Rival Meet. The track and field team faced rival UCLA this past weekend. The men and women swept the podium in the hammer throw on day one. The women also swept the podium in discus and the men took first and second in the event. On day two, the women secured a 93-69 win over UCLA, while the men fell 87-76. The women’s 4×100m relay team set a new meet and facility record. Madison Whyte won the 400m. Brianna Selby won the 100m.

🔼 Top 5. The No. 26 men’s golf team finished the Big Ten Championships in fifth place. USC had a team score of 854 (+14). This marks the program’s best finish at a conference tournament since 2018. Jack Buchanan and Jaden Dumdumaya led the Trojans individually. They tied for third place with scores of 207 (-3).

🔼 Beach Day. The No. 5 women’s beach volleyball team competed in the NCAA Championship. The Trojans beat Texas A&M Corpus Christi in the Round of 16 3-0. The women finished their season in the quarterfinals. USC fell to No. 4 Florida State 3-0 on Saturday.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is the men’s tennis team. The No. 21 men’s tennis team took down Duke in round one of the NCAA Tournament. The Trojans won 4-2. USC fell in round two to Oklahoma 4-0. The team wrapped up the season with a 19-8 overall record.

Inside Action. The men’s volleyball team started the NCAA Championship with a 3-0 sweep over Belmont Abbey. Dillon Klein reached double-digit kills for the 83rd time in his career. Cooper Keane turned in 10 kills. USC fell to Hawaii 3-1 on Saturday. Klein recorded 20 points in the final match of his collegiate career.

The men finished the season ##-# overall and 9-5 in conference matches.
